Creator Guidelines

1. Purpose of These Guidelines

These guidelines explain how creators may use LN Audio’s software tools to make content available within the application.

LN Audio provides technical features only and does not act as a publisher, distributor, or rights manager.

2. Who May Use Creator Features

You may use LN Audio’s creator tools if you:

  • Are the original author of the content, or
  • Hold valid rights or authorization to make the content available, or
  • Are sharing public-domain material

Creators must have full legal authority over any content they upload.

3. Content Ownership & Rights

By using creator features, you confirm that:

  • You own the intellectual property or have documented permission
  • Your content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or third-party rights
  • You are legally allowed to make the content available through LN Audio

Creators grant LN Audio a limited, non-exclusive license to host and play the content solely to operate the application.

4. Allowed Content

Creators may make available:

  • Original written works
  • Public-domain content
  • Licensed works with proper authorization
  • Audio-assisted content only if you own or control all applicable rights

5. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or make available:

  • Content you do not own or license
  • Pirated or scraped material
  • Trademark-infringing works
  • Illegal or exploitative content
  • Content that violates applicable laws or platform policies

Violations may result in removal or account suspension.

6. Quality & Accuracy

Creators are responsible for ensuring:

  • Clear and functional audio playback
  • Accurate titles, descriptions, and metadata
  • Appropriate cover imagery
  • Correct chapter structure

LN Audio may remove content that does not meet minimum quality or compliance standards.

7. Review & Enforcement

LN Audio may:

  • Review content before or after publication
  • Request proof of rights or authorization
  • Restrict or remove content that violates these guidelines
  • Suspend accounts for repeated violations

8. Copyright & Takedowns

LN Audio responds to valid copyright and rights-related notices in accordance with applicable law.

Creators are responsible for resolving disputes related to their content.

9. Creator Responsibility

Creators are solely responsible for:

  • Legal compliance of their content
  • Accuracy of licensing claims
  • Responding to rights inquiries or disputes

LN Audio provides software tools only and does not assume publishing or licensing liability.
